Obsidian Island#
After Valkyrie Spec Ops’s HQ 🪺 The Nest was destroyed, The Obsidian Island became the mobile heart of the Fighters Guild.
Neither bound by land nor faction, it drifts—or vanishes entirely—appearing wherever conflict brews, carried by a blend of technology and arcane might borrowed from every corner of Zeithalt.
At first glance, the Obsidian Island is a floating island of jagged obsidian rock. Carved into its face looms the colossal head of a wolf, its maw open in a permanent snarl.
The gaping mouth serves as the entrance, leading challengers and contractors alike into a labyrinthine cave system. Yet this is no ordinary cave—beneath the surface lies an advanced subterranean stronghold named Obsidian Wolf, forged with Cybernetics Inc’s mastery of technology, powered by the temporal enchantments of Cloudy Operatives, and guarded by ever-shifting corridors inspired by Delta Collective’s chaos.
The maze itself reshapes periodically, ensuring only those guided by Guild members can find their way to the command halls.
The Obsidian Island phases in and out of existence through temporal manipulation, making it untouchable when the Guild wills it. Whispers claim that the very island is alive, its wolf-shaped visage watching those who dare approach.
The underground halls are adorned with runes of MindTech Institute, woven into steel supports and verdant roots gifted by Protectores Silva, symbolizing the Guild’s neutrality and its unity of all powers.
Though rebuilt from loss, the Obsidian Island has become more than a fortress—it is a symbol of the Guild’s resilience. Some see it as a beacon of reliability, while others whisper of its phantom presence that turns battles before vanishing into the mist of legend.
