Council of Minds#

📑 Term

A governing body of MindTech Institute that resides in Cortexian Hall.

The members of the Council are called Masters and serve for life, unless they resign or are removed from the Council by vote of the other members.

There are no set criteria for becoming a Master of the Council, but usually these are recognized citizens, skilled warriors and prominent scholars of the faction. Any existing Master of the Council can vouch for new candidates for the Council.

The leader of the Council is called the Headmaster, who also acts as a Headmaster of the Institute. Headmaster is elected among the Masters of the Council by the common vote of MindTech Institute followers (not limited to Masters).

Each Master is responsible for one branch of the Institute's operations. These positions are not set in stone and can be created or cancelled by Headmaster's decree when needed. However, the most commonly known positions are:

• 🛡️ Master of War - oversees the military operations of the faction;
• 🌍 Master of Diplomacy - responsible for contacts with other factions;
• 💰 Master of Gold - acts as the faction's treasurer;
• 🎭 Master of Memes - manages the informational and PR campaigns for the faction.

The Council is as old as the faction itself, and its history ranges from the ultimate power on the island during the times it was led by hexAgon to the complete dissolution during the times of Loki's dictatorship.

The Council was restored on Eon 755 following the fall of the ruthless dictator.
